Founded, in 1967, OEMB SA initially concentrated their activity on the maintenance of the Monteforno SA steelworks facilities in Bodio. In 1970 they began constructing MEP stirrup folding machines under licence, a product they went on to produce autonomously, registering a special patent in 1982 for “centre cutting”. In 1987 the new 3000 m2 site and facilities, constructed in Giornico, marked the company’s first expansion. In 1995 the current Company Director, Diego Corbella, began to diversify production and services with the TENSOL® (trademark registered in 1998) folding machine program, but also continuing and reinforcing the precision mechanical processing sector for third parties with the acquisition of commissions for the realisation of specific industrial components. Today, characterised by ISO 9001-Vision 2000 certification, a wide and diversified line of folding machines, new products such as the “Entry Lines” series, and advanced skills in the industrial maintenance and production sectors, OEMB SA are looking to the future, confident of offering the market high profile products, services, and performance.
